While I work on continuing to process several months of video interviews, here is a treat to enjoy while waiting. Joe’s daughter, Barbara, unearthed this photograph taken of of Joe Kimm while a captain for Northwest Airlines. We think he’s handsome at every age!
Former son-in-law, Clint Viebrock (my father) is at this moment making his way toward Rapid City for the Retired Northwest Pilots’ Association this weekend. I imagine there are those who will be in attendance who recognize and remember Captain Kimm just this way, even though he’s rapidly closing in on having been retired for as many years as he worked for Northwest – and that is no easy feat, considering he worked for Northwest 42 years!
